CEO STUDIO | GRAND RAPIDS

The CEO Studio project for Steelcase’s CEO is a suite of spaces to support rapid context shifting between individual focus work, collaborating and connecting with others.  Designed to be fluid, ever changing, a space to experiment with new ideas and to prototype new ways of executive working.  The Studio includes CEO individual focus space, front porch, Chief of Staff individual focus space, and a team collaboration space.

Services included:

• executive interviews, debriefs, and presentations

• programming, research, synthesizing data, rapid prototyping

• concept exploration, creating narratives and visualizations

• space planning, schematic design, design development

• integrating technology and space

• coordination with contractors

• selection and specification of materials, finishes, furniture and lighting

• construction documents, installation, staging

• design of prototype furniture elements, coordination with shops on fabrication

• graphic art direction for custom artwork printed on marker board panels
