The ornamental guardrail is located at the edge of the terrace that surrounds the building. The architectural design of the railing had to integeate with the modular structure fo the terrace wall cladding assembly to provide economical construction and ease of maintenance in the future. The railing’s ornamental patterns were developed to honor the historic railing while adding to the necessary components to meet modern life safety codes.
